eBay for foreign sellers

I'm eBay seller since 2008 in this article will try to analize challenges that I haved to solve during this adventure

Pros: 

If you have stuff for selling this is excelent place to be visible all over the world

When you have registration in eBay you easy can sell in all other eBay sites (for example your American stuff is better to be sold in Europe and your European stuff is better to be sold in USA

You can make profesisonal looking listings with a lot of onformation)

For that reson sell international (again even if you have your local eBay it is great opportunity to atract international bidders) 

You can buy a lot of durty cheap things especially from China and Hong Kong for your own consumig you rarelly will have a Customs issue(depends of value and quantitiy)

Cons:

If you are not US citizen or do not have a local eBay site there is no big benefits to starve to became Power seller or Top rated seller

There was a very stupid shipping policy - when you try to estimate your shipping costs in some cases may be they are excceed alowed 

Seller protection - this is hilarious buyers rule you pay only taxes sellers can't leave a negative or neutral feedback only positive

Detailed seller ratings criteria:

Item as described and Communication - that is perfect

Shiping time - are you crazy??? You are not postal operator to can manage any logistic issue like international transport or domestic prossecing and delivery

Shipping and handling charges - I'm allways trying to provide actual shipping costs and do not include gasoline to the postal office or packaging materials (unfortunately a lot of sellers include all taxes and shipping materials and extra cost in the shipping costs), but as a buyer I have to check amount of stamps in local curency and compare the rate with US dolar - Who do this always

Taxes - be carefull especially new sellers (nowadays there is 100 free listings auction format) but you have to be ready to pay in the end of month

By he way you have 3 taxes selling on eBay

for the PayPal payment ( thats why a lot of Germans do not use PayPal)

Old school consoles Nintendo SEGA and their handhelds

When I was a child there was not a lot of electronic equipment for amusement such a Tv console or handheld games
Indeed this gap start to fulfill as an adult.
At first 8 bit tv console like Nintendo NES , SEGA Master System and of course 8 bit computers Atari,Commodore and Bulgarian Pravetz.
My colection continues with 16 bit maschine like Nintendo SNES
, SEGA Genesis 2 etc.
You may read a lot of articles how to keep your cartridges and how to repair it.
As a every child after short period of time this start to be a little bored and decide to sell some amount of these stuff. EBay was the best place to share my enlarging collection with other fellows.
The best sellers is of course complete cartridges with cartoon box instruction etc.
Even a popular game when is complete is very more interesting about buyers compared with cartridge only.
The most important thing is game of course there is such abig data base on internet about popularity of the games and eBay itself is good tool to estimate price of your stuff for sale.
The other part of my collection is handheld games like Nintendo Game and watch and his Russian cloning ELEKTRONIKA.
ELEKTRONIKA based on the game&watch technology and use more the same game titles
Very clear example is OCTOPUS vs Secrets of the ocean. After that comes Nintendo Game Boy - classic monohrome display, Nintendo Color very simillar but for the first time color diplay.
After that comes Gameboy Advance and Gameboy SP with back light
When you choose which game to buy always be sure that the handheld works
Weak point of Gameboy Advance is battery cover not a big deal but have to spend additional couple of dollars. Other disadvantage is missing of back light the display is not very clear. In Nintendo SP everything looks fine but be careful about charging of the battery if the console was previously wet there is a big chance to be impossible to be charged in these keys the game is useless
SEGA Game Gear this handheld game also have some problems that have to be pointed First display - do not expect every clear images because of resolution of display
Second back-light again weak point the luminescent tubes often burns and nothing can be seen on the display
